DEAN DECARLI DOWNTOWN WATERFRONT PLAZA

Stockton, California

Located at the mouth of the historic Stockton Deep Water Channel, this downtown revitalization effort took advantage of an existing brownfields site to redevelop into what has now become one of the focal points of the downtown core. The plaza's permanent shade structures, water features and extensive landscaping provides amenities for visitors and citizens. This project received numerous awards, including the AIA Award, Phoenix Award, and Council of
Government Award.

DCA provided architectural, landscape and irrigation design, and facilitated the public art component for Turner Construction.
