Charter way street beautification

Stockton, California

A seven-block stretch of business oriented arterial street. The project included upgrading a former Caltrans route to bring it to updated standards. The City of Stockton obtained an ISTEA grant for further streetscape beautification including new medians with landscape and large canopy trees; new sidewalk trees with custom tree grates,
sidewalk embellishments, and public artwork.

DCA provided landscape architectural and irrigation design, and facilitated the public art component for Kjeldsen, Sinnock & Neudeck, Inc.
