BILLY HEBERT FIELD RENOVATIONS Located in Oak Park in Stockton, California, Billy Hebert Field is one of the oldest professional ballfields in the United States still in use. Renovations to the 60-year-old concrete masonry structure include waterproofing of the concrete seating decks , construction of new concessions and toilet rooms under the decks and decorative wrought iron grille elements added as signage frames where plywood signs once existed. Site improvements include a decorative perimeter fence set to encompass existing tree groupings and bring them inside the facility along with extensive new landscaping and pedestrian lighting. The main entrance was relocated to the eastern parking area and includes a new Ticket Office/Souvenir building and a decorative iron entrance arch. DCA provided architectural, landscape and irrigation design and also participated in the public art selection process.
