Family and Youth Services (formerly center for positive prevention alternatives) Located in midtown Stockton, the Family and Youth Services (FAYS) is a non-profit organization designed to assist youth and their families build better lives for themselves and their community. FAYS provides services for teenagers who are homeless, runaways, or leaving gang life. Meals, showers, educational and job counseling, along witih a "safe house" shelter are among FAYS' functions. DCA provided architectural services for the addition of a youth "living room" and a major renovation of the interior and exterior, working with the City of Stockton and their Facade Improvement Forgivable Loan Program.
